The TechSaksham Program focuses on the holistic growth of students to mould them as proficient and polished Tech – professionals. As part of this approach, the young students under modular content have access to exclusive sessions with experts currently working with leading brand names in technology. The sessions are organised to ensure a flow of conversation between students and the experts. The experts during their hour-long sessions engage in conversations about their journey, their interests, their typical workdays and share quips about the industry. Regional Showcase

As part of project-based learning, students enrolled in the program are working on real-world problems to develop viable solutions. Regional showcase is a project exhibition event where 50+ shortlisted teams present the community solutions developed by them. This platform also gives them an opportunity to interact with industry experts for feedback and suggestions to improvise the said solutions.

Regional showcase is a platform for students to showcase their projects based on technologies in their course curriculum (Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Full Stack Web Development) under TechSaksham Program. The projects focus on impact and social breakthrough using emerging technologies IR 4.0.

In the event volunteers from Microsoft and SAP extended their valuable engagement as Jury in the Regional Showcase. Their feedback on students’ innovative solutions provided them with insights into not just the workability of their current projects but in the long run enhanced their professional capability in the technical sphere. Their efforts and time enriched the event immensely.


Microsoft AI and Cloud Skilling Initiative : Empoweing Learning & Career in AI

Nagesh Singh, Executive Director of Edunet Foundation, has been part of a dynamic panel discussion with Kshitija Krishnaswamy, MD of Corporate Citizenship at Accenture, Dr M Jayaprakasan, ISDS., CEO of Tamil Nadu Skills Development Corporation, and Srishti Gupta, Head - TCS Youth Employment Program. This engaging panel discussion, skilfully moderated by Gunjan Patel from Microsoft, revolves around the concerted efforts of large corporate, state partnerships, and non-profit organizations to propel AI skilling opportunities for all students, with a keen emphasis on rural, underserved, and female learners.

Jean-Philippe Courtois, Executive Vice President and President, National Transformation Partnerships at Microsoft Corp further enriched the event by Sharing the future plan of Microsoft in Spreading the AI skilling. Stakeholders and beneficiaries from Maharashtra who are part of AI and Cloud Skilling initiative, by Microsoft , shared their profound and valuable insights. Their testimonials eloquently highlighted the concrete benefits and transformative impact of these partnerships in empowering individuals through digital skills development.


MS Leadership visit at KEC Ghaziabad

Microsoft leadership visited to engage with TechSaksham beneficiaries. The event featured impactful moments, including the presentation of cutting-edge capstone projects by students from Gautam Buddha University and KEC, showcasing their proficiency in AI and machine learning algorithms learned during the TechSaksham program.

Placed students from ABESIT College shared their enriching learning journey, and a faculty member from Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology & Management, highlighted the significance of the TechSaksham Faculty Development Program (FDP) in updating teaching methodologies and she is cascading the knowledge to her students.


MS Bangalore Event

On January 8, 2024, Microsoft launched Microsoft AI Odyssey program to upskill 100,000 developers in India in AI technologies. The initiative focused on helping developers acquire relevant skills for executing critical AI projects aligned with business goals. The program's first level L1 taught participants to use Azure AI services, while the second level, L2 involved an online assessment for Microsoft Applied Skills credentials. 50 students from TechSaksham Program, A joint CSR of Microsoft and SAP, cleared L1 and L2 of the Microsoft AI Odyssey program.

Certified students from TechSaksham were invited to the Microsoft AI Tour event on February 8, 2024, in Bangalore. The event featured a keynote by CEO Satya Nadella, highlighting India's substantial contribution to global developers and Microsoft's commitment to advancing AI in India, followed by fireside chat by Karan M.V., where he shared the futuristic view of GitHub. Students also attended hands-on workshops, by Justin Yoo on Azure AI Studing


Students Appreciated in Ministerial event

The success of 15 exceptional students, among many other placed students, from the TechSaksham program. These talented individuals, hailing from three different colleges under Bharathidasan University, have achieved a remarkable feat by securing placements in prestigious companies like HDB, TCS, and Shivam Corporate Services. Their achievement is even more special because they had the honour of receiving their offer letters from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu himself. We applaud their hard work and dedication and wish them all the best for their promising careers ahead. The confidence and exposure they gained through the TechSaksham program will undoubtedly empower them to excel in the corporate world. Congratulations to these young learners!


SAP Leadership Visit & Project Showcase

The SAP Leadership event and project showcase at Whitefield Campus Bangalore left a lasting impression, captivating all TechSaksham students with its energy and inspiration. TechSaksham enrolled women students from Government Engineering College, Hassan, and Mata Sundri College For Women Delhi, participants in the TechSaksham Program, were privileged to visit SAP’s Bangalore office, and showcase their projects.

An interaction session with Dr. Juergen Mueller, SAP’s Chief Technology Officer, was particularly memorable, as he generously shared invaluable insights into real-world applications of IR 4.0 technologies and imparted wisdom on effective time management to the students. Another important interaction with Ms. Sindhu Gangadharan, the Managing Director of SAP India, further motivated the students, underscoring SAP’s commitment to embracing new technologies and integrating AI into its operations in future.

The TechSaksham students left an indelible mark with their impressive project demonstrations, meticulously crafted to address community needs using cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies. However, the day didn’t end there. SAP’s dedicated volunteers actively engaged in preparing the students for interviews, conducting mock interview sessions to enhance their job readiness. Overall, it was a day brimming with inspiration, innovation, and invaluable experiences.


SAP TechEd Event

The SAP Leadership event and project showcase at Whitefield Campus Bangalore left a lasting impression, captivating all SAP TechEd event in Bangalore for colleges in KA enrolled under TechSaksham was equally enriching, with live sessions, hands-on experiences, and exposure to diverse technologies significantly enhancing their knowledge and future ready skills. The 3 days event started with Keynote from Dr. Juergen Mueller, SAP’s Chief Technology Officer followed by expert sessions and Handson sessions from industry experts in different domanins . All the attendees were part of the live handson sessions from industry experts

The chance to explore various solutions and engage with industry professionals from eminent organizations like Microsoft, IBM, HCL, Accenture has broadened their understanding of work culture and dynamic world of technologies. The knowledge gained from these sessions helped in both their academic endeavours.


Leadership-Learner Connect Program Showcase Event

The Leadership-Learner Connect event held on May 10th with an objective of “Democratizing AI Skilling” brought together the leadership from Microsoft, AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy Cell, Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), faculty members and students to a common platform to demonstrate the impact of the TechSaksham Program towards driving industry ready young learner towards technology careers for better inclusion in workplace.

The event also showcased range of innovative technical solutions which used AI and Cloud technologies for real-world use cases like the Sign Language Detection Using Computer Vision, Localized Social Media platform for students to collaborate, AI based Movie review Web-App etc. The Leadership-Learner Connect event also served as an excellent platform for faculty to share their experiences of upskilling themselves in AI & Cloud Technologies and how those learnings have cascade down to many learners through the TechSaksham program.


Microsoft Future-Ready Technology Summit- Bangalore

Five TechSaksham students were fortunate enough to be part of the Hall of Fame and got the opportunity to meet and interact with Mr. Nadella. The event was full of learning opportunities for the students. It was a platform for exploration and empowerment. They come to know about future technologies like ChatGPT, open AI, automated work etc, and the scope of future jobs related to these technologies. The students come to know about Microsoft’s vision of inclusive development, digital acceleration, and economic growth. The entire exposure & interactions with the experts and industry associates groom them in developing interpersonal skills, lifting their personalities, and crafting their professional demeanour.
